About Jerry Hawkins

With over 20 years of experience with saltwater aquariums, and more than 15 years of consulting and assisting others in the industry, Jerry Hawkins has obtained the knowledge to help your aquarium become an enjoyable experience.  His teaching focus has been to take something difficult and make it "so easy" that almost anyone can do it.  Jerry is known for building some of the most beautiful coral reef displays, but he also designs incredible custom furniture to house these works of art.

Jerry has bred many types of fish including: clown fish, sea horses, discus, South American, and African cichlids to name a few.  He has also had great success in propagating hard, soft and stony corals of many kinds.  Jerry also owns a private off-site breeding facility.

Besides his normal duties at Exotic Underworlds, Inc., Jerry is a regular consultant for private companies that have large aquatic displays along with several public and private aquariums.
